Points4Purpose Expands CommunityRewards™ to American Express Cardholders for Cashback and Charitable Giving

10 March 2025 | Monday | News

American Express users can now earn up to 10% cashback from 5,000+ retailers while seamlessly donating a portion of rewards to their chosen charity.

Points4Purpose, Inc. is pleased to announce that American Express® credit card holders can now join the CommunityRewards™ platform and gain access to cashback rewards from over 5,000 leading retail brands while seamlessly micro-donating a portion of their earnings to the charity of their choice.

In an effort to disrupt loyalty rewards and philanthropic giving in the U.S., Points4Purpose has launched CommunityRewards™ in the Miami market. "We initially launched CommunityRewards™ for Visa and MasterCard holders, and now we're pleased to welcome American Express card holders. Having recently added thousands of new retailers to the platform, AmEx card holders can now earn one to ten percent cashback rewards on top of the rewards they are receiving from their card provider," said James Trocme, Chief Operating Officer of Points4Purpose, Inc.

After joining the platform and linking a card, CommunityRewards™ members can begin earning cashback rewards from premium retail brands including Bergdorf Goodman, Coach, Bloomingdale's and Neiman Marcus to name a few. Other everyday shopping retailers are also available on the platform – from top dog food brands like Chewy's and everyday shopping brands like Target, Walmart and Old Navy, there are rewards and savings for everyone. And as inflation continues to impact American households, CommunityRewards™ is becoming a useful tool to ease costs without requiring consumers to change their behavior," Trocme stated.

CommunityRewards™ technology is backed by end-to-end encryption that is PCI DSS and 3D Secure, ensuring members can confidently join and take advantage of the various rewards and benefits available on the platform. "Our platform was developed with innovative artificial intelligence and automation, enabling us to provide shoppers with access to exclusive and personalized discount incentives and micro-charitable donation opportunities," Trocme continued.
