Maridea Wealth Management (“Maridea”) announced the acquisition of Pultro Financial Management (“PFM”), a New Britain, Pennsylvania-based independent wealth management practice in the Philadelphia area, recognized for a behavioral finance approach to retirement planning, investment management, insurance planning, and college savings for individuals, families, and professionals. PFM manages approximately $217M in client assets. The transaction marks Maridea's first practice in the state of Pennsylvania and continues the firm's strategy of partnering with entrepreneurial advisors who share its commitment to client-first service and disciplined investment management.

PFM was founded by Michael Pultro, a Master Registered Financial Consultant (MRFC) and Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA) who has spent 40 years guiding clients through the financial industry. His nephew, Brian Pultro — an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA), and Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) — joined the practice under Michael's mentorship and has served as a Financial Advisor for the past 11 years. Brian recently retired from the U.S. Navy as a Commander after 20 years of service, including four overseas deployments. Michael and Brian will join Maridea as Senior Investment Advisors continuing to lead the practice alongside Donna Mannas and Stephanie Gillard.

"We've spent four decades helping clients make sound decisions, especially when emotions run high," said Michael Pultro, Founder of PFM. "Partnering with Maridea lets us bring more resources to that work without changing the relationships at the center of it. The firm's growth speaks for itself, but what convinced me was the culture — the same client-first instincts we've built this practice on.”

“Joining Maridea gives our clients access to more depth and more capabilities, while keeping the personal, relationship-first approach my uncle built this practice on," said Brian Pultro. "It's an exciting time to come aboard. The firm is on a real trajectory, and the culture is one where advisors are given the support and the room to do their best work for clients."

PFM's clients will continue to work with the same advisor team in the same New Britain, Pennsylvania office and will gain access to Maridea's proprietary tax services, expanded investment research capabilities, and broader planning infrastructure.

"Michael and Brian have built something rare — a practice with real staying power, built on four decades of trust and a team that clients genuinely want to keep working with," said Mier Wang, Founder and CEO of Maridea. "The quality of the business speaks for itself, but it's the caliber of the people that made this partnership obvious. We're proud to welcome them as our first team in Pennsylvania, and we're looking forward to supporting their continued growth."
