Backpack, a leading crypto exchange and self-custodial wallet platform, announced an integration with Sei Network, the ultra-fast Layer 1 blockchain.
Backpack Wallet is now live on Sei and listed as a recommended wallet, joining a shortlist of trusted tools for users and builders in the Sei ecosystem. Backpack Wallet allows users to securely store, send, and interact with Sei-native assets through mobile apps, with browser extension support coming soon. Top Sei dApps and projects are now easily accessible within the interface. This initiative also brings native USDC support on Sei to the exchange, simplifying stablecoin settlement and creating new trading pair opportunities.
"Backpack brings both technical depth and operational rigor to Sei's growing ecosystem," said Jayendra Jog, Co-Founder of Sei Labs. "This integration supports our mission to deliver the infrastructure that institutions and users need for faster, safer, and more accessible interaction with digital assets. Backpack offers a best-in-class user experience, compliance, and multichain capabilities, which, combined with Sei's infrastructures, helps make onchain trading more accessible and intuitive for users everywhere."
Backpack currently supports Solana, Ethereum, and Sui, with Sei now joining the ranks as the latest Layer 1 to be fully integrated across both the exchange and wallet. Backpack Exchange has seen over $139 billion in cumulative volume since launch and is quickly becoming one of the go-to platforms for both retail and institutional traders.
