Simplicity Group Holdings ("Simplicity"), a leading financial products distribution firm, announced the acquisition of Durham, NC-based Verity Asset Management, a Registered Investment Advisor, which serves individual investment clients, employers, and financial advisors with a client-centered approach to maximizing and preserving wealth. Leveraging the Simplicity platform into which it is integrating, Verity, which was founded in 1996, will continue to be led by Gordon Wegwart, Sean McGill, Amy Simonson, and Jeff Munsey (each of whom becomes a Simplicity Partner), as together, Simplicity expands the client base which it serves.
