Intellectus Partners announced the launch of a dedicated Client Engagement team, a new function designed to transform how clients experience and engage with the firm across its people, technology, investment capabilities, services and broader ecosystem.

The initiative represents the next stage of a strategy Intellectus has been building for years: combining increasingly sophisticated artificial intelligence with an even higher standard of personal service, judgment and human engagement.

“AI is going to fundamentally change wealth management, but our vision has never been to use technology to put distance between the advisor and the client,” said David La Placa, Founder and CEO of Intellectus. “It is exactly the opposite. We believe AI can make our people dramatically more capable while allowing us to become more proactive, more personal and more responsive. Our objective is to combine advanced technology with an extraordinary level of human service.”

From Building AI to Delivering It

The new Client Engagement team builds on Intellectus’ multi-year investment in artificial intelligence and digital advisory technology.

That work has included the development and subsequent spinout of Intellebox.ai, the AI platform that provides the technological foundation for much of this new Client Engagement model, as well as continued internal development of IntellectusIQ and other proprietary AI capabilities across the Intellectus platform.

Together, these technologies are allowing Intellectus to rethink not only how advice is delivered, but how a wealth and investment firm can engage with, understand and serve its clients.

“The question is increasingly shifting from what can we build? to how do we make every client meaningfully better off because we built it?” La Placa said. “That requires people who can translate innovation into experiences that are intuitive, useful and personal.”

Importantly, the mandate extends well beyond technology.

Intellectus serves a community of ultra-high-net-worth entrepreneurs, founders, executives and significant families whose financial lives often span operating companies, concentrated wealth, private investments and complex family structures.

The new team will work across Intellectus with a mandate focused on anticipating client needs, increasing proactive engagement, coordinating complex requests, connecting clients with resources across the firm and its external network, and helping clients access the breadth of Intellectus’ investment platform, Family Office Services, Founder’s Advisory, Private Markets, research, Connexus network, educational programming and AI capabilities.

The ambition is intentionally high: to build toward a model combining the attentiveness of an exceptional family office, the capabilities of a sophisticated investment organization and the intelligence and responsiveness of an AI-native platform.
