S&P Global and Anthropic Join Forces to Embed Trusted Financial Data into Claude AI

This innovative integration empowers financial professionals with seamless access to S&P Global’s robust datasets—from Capital IQ Financials to earnings transcripts—within Anthropic’s Claude, transforming how analysts interact with financial intelligence across workflows.

S&P Global announced a collaboration with Anthropic to bring S&P Global's trusted financial data into Claude by Anthropic. This integration enables financial professionals to answer complex financial questions and get fast, reliable answers grounded in trusted data from S&P Global via Claude. 

Financial professionals, from hedge fund managers to private equity and investment banking analysts, need to be able to access crucial financial data wherever their workflows take place. With this cutting-edge integration, customers can unlock S&P Global's trusted data and insights seamlessly and reliably within Anthropic's Claude. 

Using Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard developed by Anthropic, Kensho developed an MCP server for its solution the Kensho LLM-ready API, which enables LLMs to access a range of S&P Global's datasets, including S&P Capital IQ Financials, earnings call transcripts, and more. Through natural language, clients can now access the same data they rely upon via S&P Global's Capital IQ Pro platform and flexible data feed delivery options, directly in Claude.
