Bron, a next-gen self-custodial platform for securely owning digital assets, has joined The Hashgraph Association's Global Membership Program, growing its presence and support within the Hedera ecosystem. Bron users can already hold and manage HBAR and Hedera-based tokens alongside their broader digital asset portfolios and can also swap Hedera-based assets via Bron's swap interface, where swaps are executed through independent smart contracts and third-party Solvers. Membership in The Hashgraph Association gives Bron a more direct connection to the global network of enterprises, developers, startups and financial innovators building on Hedera.
The Hashgraph Association, a Swiss-based non-profit organization supporting digital enablement, innovation and education on Hedera, has been operating in an environment where digital assets are now embedded in the financial ecosystem, as adoption has matured.
The Bron platform combines self-custody with MPC-based security, sophisticated recovery options, team permissions, transaction controls and support for an expanding range of digital assets and networks. It provides users with control over their assets while reducing the operational risks associated with traditional seed phrase-based self-custody.
"The next phase of digital assets will be defined by far more than the movement of cryptocurrencies between wallets," said Dmitry Tokarev, Founder of Bron. "We are moving towards financial markets in which assets, collateral and settlement increasingly operate on-chain, bringing with them individuals and businesses that expect the same standards of security and control they would demand anywhere else they hold their wealth. Hedera has built infrastructure with the performance and efficiency to play an important role in that transition, which makes joining The Hashgraph Association a natural step for Bron as we continue building for this next generation of digital finance."
"Bron is a strong addition to our global membership community," said Kamal Youssefi, President of The Hashgraph Association. "As on-chain finance becomes more sophisticated, users and businesses need secure, accessible infrastructure that can support real adoption. Bron's focus on digital wealth, governance and self-custody brings an important perspective to the Hedera ecosystem."
The collaboration is expected to support a broader shift in digital finance as stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, digital cash, collateral management and increasingly sophisticated on-chain markets become part of mainstream financial activity.
