Alkami Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALKT) ("Alkami"), a digital sales and service platform provider for financial institutions in the U.S., announced the continued expansion of its relationship with Texans Credit Union (Texans), a Richardson, Texas-based credit union serving more than 150,000 members. A new case study highlights how Texans is leveraging Alkami to drive measurable growth in digital engagement, member satisfaction, deposits, and membership, while improving operational efficiency and building a more flexible foundation for continued innovation.

Since moving from its previous digital banking provider to Alkami's Digital Banking Platform, Texans has built on its initial conversion to advance a broader growth and innovation strategy. The credit union has since adopted MANTL Onboarding & Account Opening, created differentiated experiences with Alkami's software development kit (SDK), and deployed fintech integrations through Alkami's partner ecosystem. Together, these capabilities give Texans greater control over how it evolves its digital experience, responds to member needs, and brings new capabilities to market.

"Alkami gave us more than a new Digital Banking Platform. It gave us a long-term partner and the infrastructure to create the experiences members need to manage and advance their financial lives," said Mike McWethy, executive vice president at Texans Credit Union. "Our goal isn't simply to have more digital users; it's to make the experience valuable enough that members want to keep engaging with us, and Alkami is central to how we create that engagement. By making it easier to take action, delivering relevant insights and connecting account opening directly into digital banking, we can meet members in the moment, deepen relationships, and help them do more with us. That means we can move faster, scale with the organization, and continue improving the member experience over time, supporting growth, retention, and innovation."

Texans has used Alkami's extensible Platform to tailor its digital experience around its own priorities. Using Alkami's SDK, the credit union built My Texans Hub to make important relationship information easier for members to find and reduce avoidable support inquiries. Integrated fintech partners have added capabilities across money movement, fraud prevention, mobile deposit, direct deposit switching, and member service. Recently, Texans added MANTL Onboarding & Account Opening to connect application, decisioning, and funding with digital banking and streamline account opening across digital and branch channels.

Since beginning its digital transformation with Alkami, Texans has:

  • Increased digital engagement: Grew active digital banking users by 42% following implementation while achieving a 4.8-star App Store rating.
  • Improved member satisfaction: Increased its net promoter score from 73.6 to 89.4 following the transformation.
  • Accelerated online account growth: Doubled the number of online accounts booked in the first month after going live with MANTL.
  • Transformed account opening across channels: Reduced average account opening time to approximately 5.7 minutes across channels and made the in-branch experience up to five times faster.
  • Generated early deposit momentum: Booked more than 1,200 applications and nearly $11.5 million in deposits during the first six weeks of its in-branch MANTL experience.

"Texans Credit Union demonstrates the compounding value of treating a platform conversion as the foundation for a broader growth strategy," said Benjamin Conant, chief product officer at Alkami. "By bringing together onboarding and account opening, digital banking, an extensible SDK, and an ecosystem of integrated technology partners, Texans has greater flexibility to determine what it needs and how to deliver it. The results show how that flexibility can translate into stronger engagement, greater efficiency, and measurable growth."
