With leadership experience at PayPal, LendingClub, and GIA, Pace brings deep regulatory and fintech expertise to help advance PayZen’s AI-powered mission of affordable healthcare for all.

PayZen, a leading healthcare-focused fintech company using AI-powered solutions to make healthcare affordable for all, announces the appointment of Brandon Pace as its Chief Legal Officer. As a seasoned legal executive, Brandon has a proven track record of guiding high-growth financial and technology companies with expertise in fintech, governance and regulatory compliance.

Pace joins PayZen at a pivotal time as PayZen continues to scale its innovative platform, leveraging AI and data analytics to create flexible, interest-free payment solutions that help hundreds of thousands of patients manage medical costs, freeing them from financial hardship.

"PayZen is tackling one of the most pressing challenges in healthcare—affordability—and doing so with technology-driven innovation," said Brandon Pace, Chief Legal Officer at PayZen.  "Throughout my career, I've worked at the intersection of technology innovation and helping consumers, which often has significant regulatory complexity, including businesses in fintech, and marketplaces.   I'm excited to bring that experience to PayZen and help expand access to affordable healthcare through responsible, scalable growth."

Previously, Pace held leadership roles at eBay and PayPal, where he managed a range of legal responsibilities including regulatory matters and worked to facilitate PayPal's high-profile spin-off. As General Counsel at LendingClub, he played a key role in stabilizing the company during a corporate transition, navigating regulatory scrutiny, and guiding LendingClub to become the first fintech to acquire a bank and its bank charter. Most recently, Pace served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), a global organization committed to protecting consumers, further reinforcing his commitment to mission-driven consumer-oriented organizations.

"Brandon's ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while driving business growth makes him an invaluable addition to our leadership team," said Itzik Cohen, CEO at PayZen. "As PayZen continues to mature as a company, his deep fintech experience, combined with a strong understanding of compliance and risk, will be instrumental in expanding our AI-driven solutions for healthcare providers and patients."
